```As I Lay Dying Dallas Concert reviews
Great show, after late start
I had never seen As I Lay Dying in person before and enjoyed attending concerts. It was a treat to my wife and myself. The email from the Ohio State Fair stated this was a "sold out show" and to be in the building early. The gates advertised opening at 5:30 for an advertised "7:00" show. For the opening act, the show actually didn't begin until 7:35. This act, US The Duo, was talented and sounded good. I personally did not care for the style of their act, feeling it better suited for a lounge act. This duo played for 25 minutes. There was only one keyboard, one drum, and one guitar needing removed from the stage. They were removed quickly, then the stage was empty for the next half hour.
As I Lay Dying didn't take the stage until 8:39. The performance was 1st class with excellent interaction with the crowd. We loved the harmonies and song selections. Other than the lateness of the show, we really enjoyed As I Lay Dying and would go back again.
Why so late? Advice to those putting on the shows, and the performers, show respect to your fans by using time management better. If there is an unforeseen delay, those putting on the show should come out and announce the delay. It would be appreciated. Sometimes late nights create problems from those attending. If you say a specific time in your advertisements, keep to it.
